Intermediate Drawing and Design

About the course:
After building a base in Beginning Drawing & Design, students will strengthen their drawing skills, begin to develop their own illustrative style, and take an in-depth look at typography, color and design. We will explore new media such as colored pencils, pastels, and charcoal.

Student Expectations:
Students are expected to participate in class and complete homework assignments by the next class. Students will keep a sketchbook with minimum drawing requirements that will be checked periodically. Homework assignments must be completed each week to progress in class. Plan for 1-2 hours a week.

Requirements:
Students must have already taken the Beginning Drawing & Design class at Sound Learning. If your student took a beginning drawing class elsewhere that covered line, shape, value, and perspective, please email ourhomeroom5@gmail.com for approval BEFORE registering.

Tuition: $175 per semester / $350 yearly plus registration fees
Material Fee: $100 – covers all art supplies needed for the year

Day and TIme: Mondays 1:50-3:00 pm
